Hello! I’m Sarah Beardslee, the founder and owner of A Centered Life. I’m thrilled to share my vision with you: to create a vibrant family of clinicians who are passionate about bringing a “Wow!” experience to our community through a commitment to prioritize professional growth, integrity, health, and innovation. Here, we don't just work alongside each other; we uplift, inspire, and support one another as we strive to be the best clinicians we can be.

At A Centered Life, we believe that learning is an adventure! One of the many things that sets A Centered Life apart is its commitment to intentionally train you on the systems and processes you need to do your job well. We know how overwhelming it can be to get started and we have worked to create a process to make it go as smoothly as possible. And we don't stop there! Through our dynamic group supervision and team meetings we learn fresh strategies and interventions to keep our skills sharp and our minds open. We’re in this together!

Self-Care

Qualifications

We seek clinicians who are licensed in Kansas, have experience in psychotherapy, and a strong desire for clinical growth. Ideal candidates are able to work independently, manage their caseloads with professionalism, and demonstrate:

  • Experience: In-depth knowledge of psychotherapy treatment interventions.
  • Traits: Integrity, kindness, willingness to take accountability, organized, and down-to-earth. Commitment to our mission of bringing excellent care to our community. Displays emotional and relational health in and outside the workplace. Hard-working, creative, enthusiastic.

Interview Process

Our interview process is designed to find clinicians who share our vision and values, helping us maintain a high standard of care and support for both our clients and team members.

  2. Resume or Curriculum Vitae: Provide an overview of your qualifications, training, and experience.
  3. Clinical and Personal References: Submit three clinical references from people who can comment on your clinical aptitude and two personal references (non-family members). If you include letters of reference, please make sure to also include the names and phone numbers for your references.
